About

We are dedicated to hand-making skateboards, hand planes, surfboards, artwork, and clothing, using natural resources and skilled craftsmanship. As San Diegans, we also take every step to recycle and minimize waste during all steps of the process. Instead of mass producing skateboards like most corporations, we make custom, hand shaped models that are unique and specific to the customer’s desire.

SZWZ1966

Our company started out with the initiative of our founder Paul Sud. Nebular Rides was then born with a genuine desire to learn and make people happy with board riding. We soon moved on to produce better and stronger products, and more and more people caught on to the fact that our boards were both better and less costly than commercial craft. Soon we branched off into hand planes, t-shirts, surfboards, and recreational artwork that’s made from excess scrap.

Nebular Rides supports our environment and donates all our profits from T-Shirt designs to the Surfrider Foundation. This foundation aims to protect and better California’s beautiful coastline. With our donation of $63, Surfrider will help to clean our beaches for future generations. We plan do donate more profits to such a cause.

Our Team

A small team is what makes Nebular Rides today. This keeps us from becoming the same as all other companies, making boards just to make a profit. We put all of our collected efforts in everything we do and work on one project at a time. With three people and no mass-producing machines, you can be assured that your board is its own piece of art different from anything that has ever been created.

Paul Sud
Paul

Currently at UC San Diego, Paul is the founder, head organizer, and craftsmen of Nebular Rides. His ingenuity is essential to advancing and improving our company. Paul’s thirst for knowledge is what made our company how it is today; research and trial-and-error are the two things Paul worked with to teach not only himself, but also all our other employees.

Lucas Almassy

Entering later in the development of the company, Lucas currently attends University City High School in San Diego. His great work ethic and attention to detail has made him our top wood craftsmen, and he uses these skills to be the head wood-shaper of hand planes and skateboards. He also shapes surfboards for our company.

James Sud
James

James also attends UC High with Lucas. He is the main painter of skateboards and hand planes, but he also helps out with shaping and general coordination as well. He has gained a considerable reputation as a scrupulous painter who can transform the artistic visions of a customer into a product worthy of admiration.

Thanks to ooshitrts, our company has expanded to clothing as well. OoShirts has helped us create awesome shirts for our customers with our custom logo and artwork. We recommend their expertise for anyone who needs custom shirt designs.
